Overview
The Surf House is located in the coastal village of Imi Ouaddar, near Taghazout, also known as the surfing paradise. Perfect location as we can choose from a myriad of waves for all levels within minutes of the Surf House.
Capacity
The Surf House can accommodate 14/16 people in its facilities. It has quadruple rooms with 4 large single beds up to a capacity of 11 people, a double, triple and a quadruple apartment with double beds and kitchen. In addition you can enjoy a Chillout area with poufs and sofas to have the most pleasant afternoon and relax after 2-3 surf sessions a day.
Facilities
The surf house has a brilliant local kitchen serving delicious Moroccan food. So we will have a hearty continental breakfast and have lunch and dinner with typical Moroccan dishes such as Couscous, Chicken Tajine, Harira, Baked Fish, Tajine Kefta and grilled chicken.
Entertainment
Fortunately we are located in a place surrounded by the best waves in Morocco. We have waves for beginners who have tried surfing for the first time or for the most advanced surfers. Some of the waves where we will take you depending on your level and that we find just a few minutes from the surfcamp are: Anchor point, Mysteries, Desert point, Anza, Bananas, Killers point, Boilers, Tifnit and Imi ouaddar beach among others.
If you do not have your own surfing equipment, do not worry we take care of it. At Surfcamp we have a wide range of surfboards for different levels. From beginners to pro level. We also have wetsuits for the use of our customers.
Actually, we work with a Basque brand with quality boards. Depending on your surfing level, we will recommend you a type of board to make your improvement as efficient as possible..

In truth, Morocco is a safe place to visit. There is only very petty crime there (scams and pickpocketing in the big cities) and you are unlikely to be assaulted or seriously injured as a tourist in the country. Morocco is super safe for tourists now, so there is absolutely nothing to worry about.
Morocco has the same type of electricity and plug as most European countries. 220 with a round two-prong plug.
Morocco has a microclimate with 360 days of sunshine and is therefore a year-round tourist destination. During the summer months, from April to October, the waves tend to be smaller, but there are also far fewer people. It’s perfect for learning to surf as the water is warm and the waves are super friendly to start surfing.
If you are a more experienced surfer, best to come in the winter months (October to March). This is when the Moroccan coast gets the storms and strong swells, almost all the spots start to work, so you have plenty of waves of all sizes and levels to choose from along the coast. So if you are a beginner or looking for a wave for your level, you will find your spot.
The local currency is the Moroccan Dirham (MAD). In many places euros or US dollars are accepted. You can exchange on arrival at the airport or in the city of Agadir without any problem.
The water temperature in summer is between 20 and 22 ° C and in winter between 16 and 19 ° C. We recommend a 3/2 mm or 2/2 mm suit in the warm summer months and a 4/3 mm suit in winter.
Whatever time of year you plan to travel to Morocco, you can always count on sunny days, so always bring shorts, shirts, swimwear and a hat to protect yourself from the sun. However, it can still get cold at night, especially if you don’t come in summer, so always bring a sweater and a warm jacket in winter. Morocco is a liberal Muslim country, so it is absolutely fine to wear normal summer clothes. Depending on the activity you are planning, you should wear something else that covers. For example if you are going to the souk or rural areas of the country. Around Tamraght and Taghazout there is a very relaxed atmosphere and it is absolutely fine to be in a bathing suit on the beach.
